Continued development and building on the success of the 2024 season were the two overarching themes at Toronto Dingos Annual General Meeting held at sponsor brewery Black Lab in December 2024.
After another successesful AFLO season, which included making a second Grand Final in a row, multiple club accolades and representatives in the Transatlantic Cup, the Dingos will continue to have a focus on increasing the club membership through recruitment efforts and driving club culture.
Justin Robertson will remain at the helm of the club for the 2025 season as club President, alongside Treasurer Stephen Gordon, who will be assisted by 2024 Vice-Captain Brad Wooten.
The club will continue to move forward with two Vice President roles, as we continue focus on two key aspects of growth for the club. Joining the board for the 2025 season as the Vice President focused on player recruitment will be James Talbot, taking over long-time board member Mick McFarlane. Eoghan Bergin has retained his role from the 2024 season as Vice President with a focus on sponsorship.
After another strong season in the media space, both Matthew Hastas and Derek Bressette will continue their strong work as Media Directors, focusing on website and content and social media respectively.
After a couple of strong years leading the clubs social events, including footy trips, park days, pub crawls, Jays' games and more, Ben Moller & Ben Sinclair have decided to step down Co-Directors of Social Events to make way for new board members Matt Howell and Matteo Lugarini.
Alongside the above, Sawyer Jonker will be stepping into the Team Manager role, taking over from Mike Bocian.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mick McFarlane, Ben Moller, Ben Sinclair and Mike Bocian, for volunteering their time and effort on the board over the past few seasons. The club would not be in the position it is currently without the dedication of these men who have generously given their time to improving the Toronto Dingos.
